Where the stock actually comes from, what it costs per unit, and which of the two lines is ready to test.
Bottom line
On sequin patches, the real supply is Guangdong at $0.10–$2.00 a piece with minimums of 50 to 100. Every domestic option I found resells that same stock at five to fifteen times the price. Start with samples, not a purchase order — sight-unseen sequin quality is a genuine lottery, and the failure mode is a patch shedding in a customer's dryer.
On sticker stock, sourcing is domestic and clean: no minimums, no tariff exposure, no six-week boat. Printable media runs about $0.48 a square foot — roughly three cents of vinyl in a 3″ sticker — and Grimco carries it forty minutes away for will-call. The open variable is which media to standardise on, and that follows from the equipment on the floor.
Part one
Scope here is blank and generic stock — letters, numbers, stars, florals, generic mascots. Not licensed team logos.
One vocabulary note that saves hours of searching: these are sequin appliqués, sometimes listed as bling patches. Searching "sticker" returns vinyl decals; searching "sequin applique" returns the actual supply chain.
The overseas sellers carrying NFL and collegiate sequin patches are, with very few exceptions, unlicensed. Enforcement against small custom-apparel shops is routine, and the shop selling the finished piece is the visible party — not the overseas seller. Blank stock carries none of this exposure, which is why this brief covers blanks only.

| Channel | Price | Terms | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Faire | $1–8 / unit | ~$35 opening order, free returns, 60-day terms | Best way to sample without capital. Brands include ABLNco, Wholesale Applique, sequinandstiches, Trendy Transfers |
| Wholesale Applique (direct) | $3.99–8.99 | No minimum | 157k+ units sold, 99.9% feedback — but this is near-retail, not wholesale. Also sells via their eBay store |
| Wholesale Accessory Market | Varies | $50 order minimum, free freight over $350 | Alabama. Carries "Gameday Glam" — unconfirmed whether that includes patch blanks or only finished tops |
| Stahls' | Not published | 12-piece minimum | Chenille custom only, no blanks. You may already have an account here |
| Dallas Market Center | Trade | Apparel & Accessories Market, Oct 20–23, 2026 | Roughly eight hours by road. Handle the goods, judge shed resistance, open accounts with no order commitment |
Place a $35 Faire sample order this week — free returns on the opening order means the test costs shipping and an afternoon. If the category holds up, Dallas in October is the place to open real accounts, because sequin quality has to be judged by hand.
Part two
Sourcing here is straightforward and entirely domestic — no minimums, no tariff exposure, no six-week boat. Which stock to buy follows from what the shop already runs, which is the one thing I can't see from outside.
| Stock | Supplier | Cost | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Printable vinyl Orajet 3651 |
SignWarehouse | $119.95 / roll $0.48 / sq ft |
None | 20″ × 50 yd. Also stocked 13″ through 60″; gloss, matte and semi-gloss white |
| Cut vinyl Oracal 651 |
SignWarehouse | $28.95 / roll | None | 24″ × 10 yd for cut-only decals. The 24″ × 50 yd runs $119.95 |
| Local counter | Grimco, New Orleans | Trade | Account | Roughly 40 minutes down I-12. Will-call turns media into a same-day errand instead of a freight wait |
SignWarehouse list pricing; supplier names link through. Grimco requires a trade account.
A 3″ × 3″ sticker is 9 square inches. At $0.48 per square foot for Orajet 3651:
| Stock | Supplier | Cost | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blank die-cut sheets | OnlineLabels, Sanford FL | 40–90% under retail | None | 96% of orders ship same day before 5pm ET; custom dies in 1–3 days. Paper stock — see the note below |
| Finished stickers, for resale | Faire | $1–8 / unit | ~$35 opening | Free returns on opening orders, 60-day terms. Counter retail rather than production |
| Custom printed, wholesale | StickerReseller | Trade account | Unpublished | Blind ships to you or straight to the customer, 2–3 day FedEx. Fills custom orders without holding any stock |
OnlineLabels sells paper and label stock. It will not survive a truck bed or a dishwasher. Selling a paper sticker as a car decal earns a return and a review — it's the right stock for indoor labels, packaging and short-run sheets, and the wrong one for anything that goes outside.
Open the Grimco account first. It costs nothing to hold, and forty minutes down I-12 beats waiting on freight when a job lands Wednesday for Friday. Which roll to standardise on depends on what's on the floor — tell me the equipment and I'll narrow this to a single line item with a reorder quantity. For custom work the shop can't produce itself, a trade printer with blind shipping covers it without carrying stock at all.
For your review
What's on the floor for cutting and printing?
The media spec follows the equipment. A print/cut setup takes printable vinyl plus laminate; a cutter on its own takes Oracal 651; and roll width has to match the machine. Answer this and the media table collapses to one line.
Roughly how many stickers move in a typical month?
Sets sensible roll sizes and a reorder point. A 50-yard roll is a month of stock for some shops and most of a year for others.
Any existing trade accounts — Grimco, SignWarehouse, Stahls'?
Every price in this brief is list. Trade pricing could move the media math meaningfully.
Is there appetite for counter retail, or is this production-only?
Decides whether the finished-sticker and Faire patch stock belong in the plan at all.
On patches — is there real pull for blank sequin and chenille letter stock through the cheer, dance and Greek work, or is that my assumption?
The whole patch section rests on it.
